Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 12, Claire Chitham has spent the past two decades navigating a chronic illness alongside a celebrated 20-year career on our screens. A much loved, award-winning actress - Claire faced her personal health struggles while also living a very public life playing high profile roles on Shortland Street and Outrageous Fortune. Her own healing journey sparked a deep passion for wellness, inspiring her to explore the powerful intersection of traditional medicine and holistic health.
In 2021, she co-authored Good For You, a book on gut health and good feelings, and has since become a sought-after speaker dedicated to empowering others to take their health into their own hands. Claire believes knowledge is both power and prevention - and that everyone deserves to live a healthy, vibrant, and vital life. Warm, insightful, and naturally engaging, Claire brings her story to the stage to inspire others to reclaim their wellbeing with confidence and curiosity. |
