Angela Chelet holds a Master of Science from the University of Auckland and brings a broad range of experience in clinical trials. As Study Start-Up Manager at PCRN, she is responsible for the successful initiation of clinical studies, including detailed planning, team coordination, and timeline management. Angela works closely with CROs, sponsors, and internal site staff to ensure efficient and compliant study activation.
Angela leads the team responsible for preparing and submitting applications to New Zealand’s Health and Disability Ethics Committees (HDECs), ensuring all documentation meets ethical and regulatory standards. She also oversees clinical trial budgets—partnering directly with sponsors to align financial expectations and secure funding, while working closely with finance teams and site staff to create realistic, sustainable budgets that reflect each protocol’s complexity. Known for her efficient and collaborative approach, Angela has successfully helped launch numerous studies across diverse therapeutic areas. |
