Dr Adelie Tan
Research Fellow, The University of Auckland, NZ
Dr Adelie Tan obtained her PhD from the University of Auckland in 2022 under the supervision of Dr Malvindar Singh-Bains, Professor Mike Dragunow, and Distinguished Professor Sir Richard Faull. She is currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Centre for Brain Research to elucidate the role of various cell types and pathological proteins in genetic neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s disease and X-linked Dystonia Parkinsonism. Her research aims to better understand the neuropathology of these diseases in order to identify potential targets for future therapeutic strategies
